Breton Industrial is a company based in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, that has focused on the industrial-agricultural business line for over 10 years, and has been fabricating harvesting machines for different products such as broccoli, lettuce, brussel sprouts, cauliflower and artichoke. Its equipments are present in states with important harvesting production like California and Arizona, and in relevant spots for the industry in Mexico like Guanajuato, Sonora and Baja California.

The design process usually starts when the client approaches us with a specific need, which typically is to increase their crop productivity. In each step of the process the purchaser is heavily involved, they tell us their requirements, and based on this information, and with the help of a 3D modeling software, our engineering team creates a design proposal that is presented to the client and, when it gets approved, we proceed with the manufacturing process. Even during this last activity, they are invited to come to our facilities to make sure we meet their expectations and requirements.

Another advantage of using our harvesting equipment is that it helps the field worker have less physical stress, since it enhances their performance and prevents injuries. 

Most of our equipments use conveyor belts (hydraulic driven) to transport the harvested and packaged product in the field to where it is stored or where it is transported.

The manufacturing process contemplates several points, which goes from CNC Cut, machining, profiling, making the list of materials and parts that is required, and once all the necessary components are available, we proceed to the assembly and welding of all the subassemblies that the structure entails, like hydraulic equipment (hydraulic cylinders, valves and motors) and the electrical system, as well as any other specification that has been set by the client.
